Stephen Willerton has been growing alpines since the early 1980's. This has given him an opportunity to select a range that offers a great variation in colour, height and form. The alpines grown all have particular special features - either from flowers or foliage. Some alpines have been cherished for their ability to bring a trough or low maintenance garden to life.

Alpines are very versatile and ideal for gravel gardens, patio containers, troughs and of course an especially dedicated area of the garden for alpines. Plants that will continue to be popular with low maintenance and drought tolerant properties.

The alpines and rockery plants we grow are hardy perennials, accustomed to the strong winds of open Lincolnshire. We endeavour to grow healthy, strong plants that will bring pleasure to the gardener for many years.

We take special care in growing them to high standards, always on the look-out for improved varieties or new genera we haven't tried before - bringing the best to you. We find the delights of these miniature garden plants to be very rewarding and we hope you will too.
